Poor! Ordered a week ago still no items received. Eventually had an email back but gave no clue at all when my order will be despatched. In fact they didn't even care. First time customer and will definitely be the last time I order from this company. Quick to take your money but it's 50/50 as to whether you will receive what you paid for.
Had used theae fellas for a good few years , always advertising sales etc. However recently i had an order sof small items took a very long time to come. And ny fishing partner in northern ireland had ordered a beachcasting set up ,i unfortunatly reccomended GAC , so he found something in stock he wanted said it would only take couple days... its now been over a month. They refuse to reply so literally just stole the money ! Absolute cowboys will not be using again better going to smaller independant shops

Appalling customer service. Ordered a fly line winder and half way through winding the fly line off my reel the winder fell off its clamp due to faulty manufacturing. Customer service suggestion to avoid getting the inevitable twist in the line ' wind it off the line winder by hand and then untwist it on the lawn.' Why did I buy a line winder in the first place!
A faulty product is understandable but good customer services might have said 'apologies how can we help put it right.'
Very poor service. Ordered 2 rods & according to the delivery page, it was due for dispatch in 4 days. When it didnt arrive I called and the phone message said 7 days. When it still didnt arrive and I managed to speak to someone, I was curtly informed that they had no idea why it hadn't gone out. The employee was surly and no apology was made. The rods did arrive after 17 days, well packaged and with two catalogues I immediately binned. The bad reviews are right. Great website, terrible service.
Great selection compared to most shops, but sadly they are either incompetent of thieves.
They forgot to include and item in an order, claimed would send it to me and even after 3 more orders, never did so. More fool me for having continued to shop with them for another 6 weeks, as now the same with another order, this time 2 items missing.
I'm not even going to try to get it sorted on the second order, as all they do is make promises, keep fobbing you off then eventually ignoring your mails altogether.
Seriously don't get why they have put so much work into a great site, solid selection and prices, simply to screw things up with terrible service. I strongly suggest you avoid, as they are great when things go right, but anything goes wrong, you are the one that will pay for their mistake.

Absolutely amazing service, I had ordered this online on Tuesday afternoon gone 4 O'Clock and received my rod on Thursday before 10 am. Couldn't be happier with an incredibly fast service with the best rod I could have ever dreamed of. I genuinely cannot rate this company highly enough

A good company with a pretty frustrating website. Their prices are pretty good, the service is very good. I just wish their website only showed the items they have in stock and that the filters worked.
Ordered on line several times over the years and not had any problems - goods arrive on time and well packaged. Have used customer services to sort out a couple of hiccups with items gone out of stock and all been sorted with quick phone call.
When I left a rod on my order by mistake that was out if stock and not due in this year, I phoned up, got a refund next day and the person I spoke to took the time to advise on suitable alternative and a matching real which I then ordered and arrived 2 days later.
Have seen some stinking reviews but my experiences have been positive even when quite clearly my error. The stock range is really good, the prices overall are reasonable and find website ordering easy.
Brilliant service.
I've used these guys a number of times over the years. Always been a grand service. Only one problem where I received a rod where one of the eyes was manufactured wrong. They sent me a replacement the next day and said I could keep the one I had as the good half could be kept as a spare. Cant say better than that! Much more help than some of the other big name fishing retailers.
I recently bought a reel on a super offer (almost 50% off) from Hardy. I can inlu say that the delivery was faster than Amazon prime. Placed the order at 11 am and received the product 24 hours later.
Hopefully i won’t need to see how they handle warranty issues.
Update: second order from them arrived as advertised on the web. Few days for the product to be dispatced (as allready stated on the website) then 1 day tracked delivery with ups.
Five stars for the service especially for these covid times.
Absolutely happy and satisfied buy this company, clear reliable and polite in all aspect of their business, people that don't need loose their reputation making scams and deceptions, who is talking bad about them is telling liars , several purchasers and never got a problem

Two weeks item still not received found out later had not even been sent
I got my purchase 3 weeks later after opening a case with PayPal.
Its a case of take your money and stuff the customer.
Will never use this company agen.
